You have the right to opt out from us using your data at any time. However, if you do ask us to remove your details from our database prior to the closing date, you will be withdrawing from the competition. You will not be entitled to a refund of any entry fees you have paid.
No, this is not compulsory. However, with your permission, we would love to share your excitement on our website and social media pages.
Even if you do not want to participate in any promotional exercises, we may have to provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority to prove we have administered the competition and awarded the prize fairly.
You can enter the competition as often as you like. However, entries may be limited if we reach the maximum allowed.
Although this is not gambling, we encourage you to keep it enjoyable and avoid spending beyond your means.
Everyone who gets the answer to the question correct will be entered into a draw. The winner will then be chosen at random using a random number generator live on Facebook.
The maximum number of entries is specified for each competition, so your chances of winning will vary accordingly. For example, if the entries are capped at 3,000, purchasing one entry and answering correctly means your chances of winning are no worse than 1 in 3,000.
You can enhance your chances by purchasing additional entries. If you buy 10 entries in the above scenario and answer correctly, your chances improve to no worse than 1 in 300.
We say “no worse than” because we anticipate that a significant number of participants might answer the question incorrectly. While we can’t predict the exact number, suppose 500 people answer incorrectly and each purchased one entry. In that case, your chances of winning with a single correct entry would improve to 1 in 2,500.
We do not offer refunds of entry fees if you get the answer to the question wrong, or if you are disqualified from the competition for any reason.
The draws will proceed as scheduled. We feel it would be unfair to make you wait longer, and we’re excited to award the next prize!
